Today I want to share some tips on how to feel better about ourselves when we are mums.
Let's be honest, being a stay at home mum is hard🤧 even more when our children do not go to daycare, kinder or school, you can literally spend your whole day in your pyjamas and yes, it is so comfortable, but nothing pleasant to be seen in the mirror, and this is the problem.
Not loving what you see in the mirror, makes you feel less, your productivity goes down and what is worse your brain begins to send terrible messages like “how ugly do I look, pregnancy left me fat, children have aged me, l won’t be able to get work, blah, blah "🤔 If you are going through this, stop! Send those negative thoughts to …… 🙊 You know where, and follow these tips:
Not loving what you see in the mirror, makes you feel less, your productivity goes down and what is worse your brain begins to send terrible messages like “how ugly do I look, pregnancy left me fat, children have aged me, l won’t be able to get work, blah, blah "🤔 If you are going through this, stop! Send those negative thoughts to …… 🙊 You know where, and follow these tips:
1. Remove your pyjamas, yes, get up, go to the bathroom, shower and change. You should get ready first thing in the morning before everyone else.
2. Get out of your house, and not just to leave the kids at school. Leave home to walk, walk to the supermarket, to the park, to the library. Make the goal to go somewhere that you like every morning, even for 10 minutes.
3. Organize yourself, have your mum uniform ready. Organise what you're going to wear tomorrow the day before, or on Sundays, if you want to do it weekly. Have your clothes ready, just as you would get your kids clothes ready.
4. Accessories should be your best friends. You can wear the same clothes every day (ok do not take it literally, no, it's an example, mama 😂) but if you add different accessories every day, not only will you look better, you'll feel better seeing yourself different every day, believe me.
5. Always use a hero in what you wear every day, for example, a red coat, strong lipstick, some pretty sunglasses, some cute flats or strong coloured shoes, whatever, an item that is the hero of your look.
6. Smile! oh yeah, there is nothing better than smiling, you feel better, you look even more beautiful and above all, you recharge your energy, which with children is quite scarce🤓.
What else would you add?

Oh wow! Such a great article to read. Then, I am ready for tomorrow to feel fabulous! ☺
I always make sure to get out of my pyjamas every day and I always try to get out of my house too, even if it is just for a few minutes to pop to the nearby shop.
haha I can definitely relate to some of these. I love waking up feeling fabulous but sometimes you do need that extra little push.
Loved reading it. I needed to hear it today. Get out of my pajamas and get dressed.
