Sometimes you feel you can’t do it, that you are doing everything wrong, you even feel alone 😢.
I know we are surrounded by people who love us and our beautiful kids, how can you even #Iknowright but somehow we feel we are in a hole.
Sometimes those days feel like eternity.
Sometimes those days don’t let you enjoy and see all the blessings around you.
Sometimes you think it’s your fault, you deserve it anyway.
Sometimes we just need to stop and let it go. Negative thinking is our enemy. It dampens our enthusiasm and motivation.
Lately I was thinking why things have not worked out the way I wanted them to. I hate being grumpy, I hate not being patient with my kids. At the end they are not the problem, it is the way I deal with things.
So I decided to listen to my kids and really understand their words. It happens that I have been spending too much time in front of the computer. Ok, I am working but they don’t really see that, they think we are spending more time in front of the screen than with them, they don’t understand the concept of working from home and think that when you are home you should not spend any time away from them, you are next to them but you can’t play with them so how does it work?
So I am working on schedules, routines and play times. It is really hard to find a balance but all we can do is try. We are changing the way we do things, as an example, I am testing this week how to get on top of organizing all of their books. It is something that really annoys me so I am testing a new technique to make this easier for everyone. In the mean time, we are going outside more often and exploring which it is something my eldest one loves to do, she loves telling you stories of what she sees.
So here I am holding their hands, recharging my energy, learning from them and hoping I will always do my best to be a better mum for them .

Motherhood can be so chaotic, but so beautiful at the same time. You just need to go with the flow and see where it takes you :)
